Our Webshops support most of the popular online payment gateways, such as Protx, Paypal, Worldpay, ePDQ etc.  It is important to understand that these payment suppliers will charge a monthly fee and/or a transaction fee, so make sure you are aware of these before signing up. Also, note the length of the contract as some can be rather lengthy.

The method of how the payment is actually processed is crucial, we always recommend an embedded payment solution, ie: the payment is taken within your website as this is more professional, quicker and instils confidence in the customer. Some of the cheaper ones, ‘breakout’ from your site, take the payment, then return to your site, eg: Paypal Standard.

Consider adding multiple currencies if you are selling to customers outside of the UK.
